Increased Production Capacity: Creekstone looked to expand its Arkansas City, KS, facility’s footprint by 45,000 SF adding a new Hot Box and Sales Cooler. Before the expansion, they were operating their beef packing facility at a 1,200 head/day production rate and had a permitted capacity of 1,650 head/day. They partnered with Gleeson on this Design-Build project to increase production to 2,400 head/day.
Regulatory & Industry Expertise: Gleeson’s work included a new Hot Box Cooler, Sales Cooler, and Engine Room expansion to provide refrigeration for those new spaces and chilled water for the Hot Box Spray Cooling Area.
